I really like the revised look of the proposed new construction! The overall shape and the materials really echo the rest of the block and neighborhood, yet it still looks contemporary.

Very cool, I like the draft of 617. I would like your permission to repost on Hills and Heights if I could. I would of course link back and give full credit. Looking forward to watching the progress of the project.

Jason, can you elaborate on the responsibilities of the president or point to someplace where this position is described? Thanks.

Keep in mind the site is within our Old and Historic District so it will come under CAR review.
FYI our firm (Glave & Holmes Architecture) teamed with CR architecture + design and submitted a proposal for this project. The city has not selected a short list yet but I'll keep you posted.

Im down with the firestation. Added security/people, upgrade to the park, wish they would buy out the really bad old 7-11, that's where it should go.... In the RFP they discuss an add for a community room; That would be nice as we currently have no place to meet. Limited opportunity for any good local architect to do the work... the RFP is too restrictive. Design wise im a little scared to see what we get!
