Happy nearly summer, neighbors! Wanted to write a post to update you on things going on in our common area, the Springhill Festival Grounds at 517 W 20th St:

  • The Hootenanny is happening this year! We’re raising money to pay musicians, repair the stage, and hire somebody to run sound. We’ll be doing t-shirts to raise money, but if you want to donate directly see the page for the event.
  • There is a little free library and seed library at 517 that also features mutual aid food staples. This is not charity; this is a neighborhood pantry we can all contribute to and take from. Please feel free to do so! Also keep in mind the community fridges and the food forest nearby.
